Why Did I Start This Thing?
I started SuperHeroSamples for several reasons: to supply producers with fresh samples, to share my experiences from over 20 years as a professional producer (mostly in radio, producing jingles, and such), and to engage in a dialogue with like-minded individuals.
But Who Am I Anyway?
First and foremost, a music lover. That started from childhood. Somehow, music was always there and always important. In my youth, I started playing guitar and later bass and was involved in various bands. Later, I worked as a DJ and began producing electronic music on the computer. Through twists and turns, I eventually decided to make music and sound my profession, and have been working in the media industry as an audio engineer and producer, primarily in radio, for several years now.
Over the years, I’ve learned a bit about professional mindset, the importance of good workflow, and creative work under tight deadlines. Much of this can be applied excellently to music production, and that’s what I’d like to share here.
Music … Always!
In my free time, I still produce music, beats, loops, or dedicate myself to sound design when I’m not at band practice or doing yard work.
So, that’s about it for now. I don’t want to bore you. My life really isn’t that exciting;-P
